The style of the 1990s was taken from the 1920s, 1960s, 1970s and the 1980s, because the designer had no ideas to develop a style for the 1990s. That means the 1990s began like the 1980s with a lot of glamour which was spread by the supermodels.

At the same time an anti-fashion developed which was called Grunge and its characteristic style was badly applied make-up and badly treated clothes. This style ended in the year 1993.
